- And the Xoloitzcuintli, or Mexican Hairless Dog, which (as its name suggests) is hairless apart from a striking crest of hair on its head and has been around for at least 3,000 years, originating around the time of the Aztec civilization.
Pups that are rare and exotic in their appearance or availability have the same basic needs as every other more ‘common’ breed. Even the most exotic dog in the world still needs love, nurturing, shelter, food, training, and structure.
