Please read fully before inquiring – we respond first to those who put in an adoption application. Greta was found in the middle of nowhere near Cleveland, TX. She was found with her three puppies and Hans. They were using construction machinery as shelter, out in the TX summer heat. Thankfully a … team of both street feeders as well as rescue networkers were able to get involved to get all dogs to safety. We were so glad to step up to the plate and take them all in. Now, they are in search of their furever homes! Greta is currently fostered in TX, but would love to make her way to IA on one of our upcoming transports. Because Greta has spent most of her 3 years’ time as a stray, and as a mother, she is now just learning to be able to be a dog. She is warming up in her foster home and is safe to be around other dogs and children. Her warm and sweet personality is finally being seen! Greta will be spayed soon, and is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and micro-chipped. Adoption fees include transport to our designated IA locations. Since most of our animals are found as strays, we cannot guarantee breed or age. Breed and age are decided based on our experience as well as veterinarian advice. Our adoption fees help cover expenses and fund our program to let us continue to Rescue, Rehab, and Rehome stray and abandoned animals. Thank you so much for considering adoption!
