Let’s meet Dillon, who, along with his brother David, was sadly found abandoned locally. At first, Dillon may be a little shy, but don’t worry—he warms up quickly! Once he assesses the situation and trusts you, get ready for an outpouring of affection. Dillon will be all over you, showering you … with love and cuddles. He just needs some time and plenty of patience to adjust. It seems like he didn’t have much socialization in his past, but he’s incredibly curious and eager to explore his surroundings. Once he gets to know you, he’s as sweet as can be and loves nothing more than cuddling up with his trusted humans. Dillon is going to be a big boy, so having a fenced-in yard would be beneficial for him. Additionally, he thrives on love and attention, so he’ll flourish in a home where he receives plenty of both. Currently, Dillon is located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. If you’re interested in meeting him, simply complete and submit an adoption application to the rescue. Once approved, you can schedule an appointment to see him. Please note that we are unable to hold our dogs for any reason. For applications, we prioritize those within a one-hour or 40-mile radius of Lemont, IL, due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. However, if the dog or puppy is already fully vetted, we are more flexible and will consider adoptions outside of this restriction. We kindly request that you only apply if you are genuinely ready to welcome a new companion into your home within five days of approval.
