Due to some recent life changes, Dixie’s owner is unable to keep her anymore. Dixie was raised in a household with small children and dogs of various sizes, making her very well socialized. However, she has not been tested with cats. Dixie has a curious and excited personality rather than being … aggressive. She is house-trained, although she may have a small accident when she gets excited. Dixie would thrive in a home with other dogs or children, unless her potential owner is active and adventurous. She craves companionship and wants to be with humans as much as possible. Dixie is kennel trained and settles down after a bit of barking. As a mini Aussie, she belongs to a high-energy breed and requires tasks, toys, and entertainment to keep her stimulated. At her current age, Dixie weighs 17 lbs and will not grow any larger.
