Ringo

Ringo is a 3-year-old neutered male Belgian Malinois, currently weighs 72 pounds. This big guy spent a year and a half in a shelter in South Texas before we rescued him. He is an all-around great dog who has waited far to long to find a family. He is extremely respectful and well behaved. He has … been a breeze to have in foster and I would love to find him a home of his own. He is not a candidate for bite work. I believe he would be a fantastic service prospect or potentially scent work. He has done well so far with his obedience training and is very willing to please. He has high food drive and medium toy drive. He is not an extremely high energy malinois and could fit into a active pet home with no issues. Unfortunately Ringo tested heartworm positive back in 2021 but has since been on the slow kill method and should be testing negative now (will retest before adoption). He is UTD on all vaccines, preventives, and is micro-chipped. Ringo is great with other dogs, has high prey drive so a cat free home is recommended. No bite history.
