Zipp

About Zipp

Please Note: We are currently accepting applications to adopt Zipp but he is currently waiting to be neutered, which will happen very soon! Zipp is a 6-year-old Doberman with low/medium energy level. He is black with rust points. He is very submissive and timid with other dogs, good with cats and other animals. He is respectful children over 8 please, Zipp is shy and can easily be overwhelmed. Special needs: Zipp wants affections and attention so badly, but he is a shy dog who takes some time to come out of his shell. Medications: none. “My Past: I was a breeder surrender, they were no longer using me as a breeding dog so I was surrendered to Bella Run. My new friends here are teaching me how to be a real dog! I am learning to do things like walk on a leash and gain confidence. Hands reaching for me quickly still makes me a little nervous, but I am getting better every day. Today I wiggled up to one of my new friends, my tail was wagging so fast! Likes: I love having my face rubbed. Dislikes: Loud noises and people rushing at me scares me. My ideal home would be a quieter one with no kids or more mature kids, a bunch of kids running around after soccer practice would scare me I think.” How to adopt from Bella Run Equine: 1. Reach out to us with a brief paragraph about you and what you are looking for in a dog. If you are interested in a particular dog, let us know that. 2. We will then send you an adoption application to fill out (this takes 5 minutes for most people). 3. The thing that slows us down when approving people is obtaining their vet reference. If you call your vet and have them email a recommendation to us at [email protected], it speeds up the process so much. A good vet recommendation will include your current pets on file, their vaccination status, and whether you provide recommended vet care to your animals. 4. Once you are approved, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. This means that you will need to drive to us with your children and current dogs to meet the potential adoptable dog. 5. Since you are already pre-approved at this point, you can choose to take the dog home with you that day if you wish (and if we determine that it is a good fit, we reserve the right to deny any adoption at any time based on suitability). The best way to contact us is to text us at 740-707-0793 or email us at [email protected] with the dog’s name in the subject line.
