Roo

About Roo

Precious Roo was surrendered to our rescue by a breeder because he didn’t sell by the breeder’s preferred timeframe. Why? We have no idea, because this puppy is amazing! For the early part of his young life, he was kept in a barn with his siblings, but is now living the good life in his foster home. He is a sweet, easy-going pup. His foster family named him Roo because he has a long tail that reminds them of a kangaroo! Roo is somewhat timid because the world outside of the barn where he was kept is all new to him. However, he has made wonderful progress with adjusting to life in a home -living with other dogs, a cat, and neighborhood activity. He seems to love his crate with a comfy bed as his “den” and safe place. His foster family keeps the crate door open so he can go in and out of his crate, and he is very content napping in his crate and sleeping through the night. He was recently treated to a “spa day” and given a bath and nail trim and did great! Roo would benefit from a loving and kind family who would invest the time to further his puppy training and be home often to provide him companionship as he grows. The sky is the limit with this boy! Home visit and adoption donation required.
