Yes, Ravi is a Dalmatian. Really. He is a long-coat, lemon spotted Dalmatian. So two recessive traits surfaced in this cute spot of a different color. He was the product of a backyard breeder trying to convince people that these traits are rare and desirable. While he is adorable, beautiful and … very deserving of a wonderful home, please know that no breeder would strive for these characteristics. But Ravi is here and we think he’s pretty perfect. He did not receive the early socialization he should have, so is a little bit on the shy side, but he is learning quickly and starting to come out of his shell. With a patience and positive-motivation training, he’ll be a great companion. Ravi loves other dogs and must place in a home that has a doggy sibling for him to learn from and play with. He is now crate-trained and well on his way to house-trained. When he came to us he was thin and had very rough coat and skin. That’s all resolved now and he’s a happy, healthy boy. We can’t wait to help Ravi find his perfect home! (Ravi will be neutered at an appropriate age.)
