Pup Pup

About Pup Pup

Introducing Pup Pup, the good doggy with a heartwarming tale. When his human’s house tragically caught fire and left them without a home, we stepped in to give him a second chance. Now, he’s on the lookout for a cozy spot on YOUR sofa, ready to become your ultimate accessory pillow! Pup Pup is the epitome of an “oldie but goodie” with 13 years of pet experience and plenty more love to give. Life took an unexpected turn for him when his home was lost, but he’s adjusted like a champ here at the Sanctuary. During walks, he’s not the fastest mover, preferring to take his time and savor every sniff and exploration opportunity. But once you find a spot to sit down, get ready to experience pure bliss as you give him some deep scratches, especially at the base of his tail. That’s when you’ll witness his contentment in action, as he lets out the most satisfying sigh. In his previous life, Pup Pup shared his home with kitties, and he’s been a perfect gentleman around other dogs during our outings. He truly is an excellent friend to all. Pup Pup has a soft and affectionate nature, never clingy or pushy. And guess what? He’s a pro in the car, so he’s always up for a ride! Managing and caring for Pup Pup is a breeze at this stage in his life. All he needs is some tender loving care, a soft bed to call his own, and a human (or humans) who appreciate the quiet comfort of a loyal companion eager to spend his golden years with them. Health-wise, Pup Pup is in pretty good shape! While he may have some minor remnants of a past vestibular incident, our vet assures us that there’s no current vestibular disease. He may be a bit wobbly at times, with a slight tilt of his head, but it doesn’t slow him down. Weighing in at almost 60lbs, he’s a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Now, the question is, will you have the honor of being Pup Pup’s final and perhaps best custodian? The only way to find out for sure is to come on by and experience his undeniable charm firsthand. He’s eagerly waiting to hear from you soon!
