Let me introduce you to Papa, a special dog who’s been patiently waiting for a loving home. Papa and his sister Mama were heartbreakingly dumped at a shelter, but unfortunately, they were separated when Mama found her forever family, leaving Papa behind. For 8 long months, Papa waited for someone … to notice him, but sadly, no one came forward. He was even listed for euthanasia, but thanks to a small rescue with limited resources, an extension was granted, and Papa was saved from that fate. During his time at the shelter, Papa endured tremendous stress and gained weight due to the lack of exercise. He wasn’t given the opportunity for proper social training, leading to some challenges in his interactions with other dogs. However, we believed in his potential and sent him to a training program that provided him with the care and guidance he needed. After completing the program, Papa has made significant improvements in his social skills. Now, all Papa needs is a home where he can adjust back to a regular routine and await his forever family. Despite his difficulties with other dogs, Papa is a wonderful, sweet dog who deserves a chance at a good life. It’s evident that his one true love was Mama, and since their separation, he has carried a broken heart. Let’s work together to mend it!
