About Jeb Pacheco
“Hi there! I’m Jeb…Jeb Pacheco. (kind of like James Bond, but way cuter!) Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a Basset Hound…did my ears give that away? I’m about 4-5 years old and at my last weigh-in they said I was 51 pounds. I am working on my nutrition here and have a few more pounds to … gain. That’s just a little more of me to love! So, my owner decided they didn’t want me anymore and a really nice lady decided to get me to Tracy’s Paws so I could find a loving forever home. Here is what else I can tell you about me. I am a pretty chill guy, which kind of goes with the whole Bassett Hound vibe. I like other dogs that match my energy level. I don’t prefer dogs that are dominant or overly energetic. I’ve been around the felines before and got along with the ones I met. I don’t really like having my nails trimmed, because it’s still pretty new to me. My previous people never gave me regular manicures so I’m still learning what that’s all about. I’m crate trained here for my meals and for sleeping but I’d also be ok with snoring at the end of your bed at night. I’m up for leisurely walks around the neighborhood and if the plans are for movie night on the couch, I’m ok with that, too. So, if you are into handsome hounds on the long and stout side, check out my video and let’s see if we are a match!” Jeb Pacheco is located in a loving foster home in San Antonio, Texas and is available for transport to Wheaton, IL on September 16th. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, micro-chipped and his adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost. Jeb is Heartworm positive and is currently being treated. He also tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing, Heartworm and tick testing (age appropriate), all age-appropriate vaccines, Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, spay/neuter surgery and microchip. The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog’s physical appearance. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
