“Hey there! Cyera here, on a quest to find my forever home! I’m a sprightly 9-year-old, currently enjoying the foster life in Cedar Falls, IA. You won’t believe it, but I used to work at a puppy factory before SIRA whisked me away. Boy, let me tell you, life is so much better now! I had no clue … that there were places as soft and comfy as this, or that belly rubs and head scritches could bring such pure bliss!! I’m still adjusting to this whole new world, though. There are heaps of weird noises and crazy stuff happening all the time. I’m a curious gal, always up for exploring, but I do get a bit scared and tend to hide when I hear unexpected sounds, like that gadget whizzing around the floor or when someone demolishes a cardboard box. But no worries, I’m a good girl indoors and never make potty messes. I’m actually quite friendly with other dogs and even cats! The great outdoors is still a bit intimidating for me, though. During the day, all the ruckus and commotion freak me out, so I prefer doing my business in the early mornings or when the night is calm and quiet. My dream forever home would be a chill and peaceful place, with a nice secure yard where I can feel super safe. A small yard is totally fine since big open spaces scare the wits out of me! I’d love to have a patient family who can help me get used to this new life. Oh, and my foster mom thinks that I might grow to enjoy those leash walks one day. How cool is that? It would be pawsome to have another easy-going doggo or a cool cat friend to show me the ropes. But, oh please, no little kids! They really make me nervous! You’ll be happy to know that I’m a healthy girl, weighing in at 33 pounds, and I’ve been spayed and vaccinated.
