Brutus

About Brutus

Check out Brutus! This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. Brutus – a four-year-old, 95 pound, Saint Bernard/Yellow Lab mix fellow. Brutus was an owned dog in Tennessee, but his family has to move and can’t take him with them. His foster shares that “Brutus is a gentle giant. And I cannot say enough great things about this big boy. We love him here so much! He is gorgeous and all around truly wonderful. Do you want this big hunk at your home? Well you can’t do any better than Brutus. He gets along well with other dogs and loves every human he meets. He enjoys kids but due to his size those with little kids should think about how large he is. But he is so calm and pleasant to be around. He is super attention and treat motivated. Brutus seems housebroken, he is good on the leash and ready to go on long walks with you because he loves the outdoors. He enjoys the snow, but would love to cuddle up on the couch by the fire with you. He is a super friendly, loving guy who is just looking for a new family to bring all his love to!” All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Brutus you must apply for him! Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
