Bernice

Bernice is a five-month-old girl who’s full of love and affection. Bernice and her brothers and sisters, along with their mom, were found on the side of a rural road where they had been left to fend for themselves. The puppies and their momma had the good fortune of being found by a very caring … family who took them in until they could be moved to our foster families. The puppies are now all healthy, happy, and ready to go to forever homes. Her foster mom says: “Bernice is a very sweet bundle of puppy energy and she loves to play fetch. She does fantastic with our cat, they play together and even eat together, although the cat does find Bernice a little too affectionate at times! She enjoys all of her chew toys and most of all she loves her stuffed unicorn; she snuggles with it every night; she enjoys snuggling on the couch with us too, but eventually wants to move to the floor so she can sprawl out. Bernice is crate trained and will often put herself to bed when she’s plum tuckered out. Bernice also loves play dates with other puppies and dogs. She is a bit shy when first meeting a friend, but quickly comes out of her shell. She is very sociable. She is doing really well on a leash now.” Although she still has some growing left to do, Bernice currently weighs about 38 pounds.
