About Precious JuM

“Greetings! I’m Precious, and let me tell you, my name fits me perfectly. I arrived at the rescue in October 2022, seeking a safe haven to have and raise my adorable puppies. By January 2023, all my little ones found their forever homes, but now it’s my turn to find mine. Yes, I may be a bigger girl, but that simply means there’s more of me to love and cuddle with. And let me tell you, cuddling is one of my top three favorite things in the world. First, there’s food. Oh, I absolutely adore it! If you have a treat in hand, I’m ready to do almost anything you ask. Then there’s cuddling. Whether it’s on your lap, the couch, or in the bed, anywhere cozy with pillows or a human is where I want to be. And kisses… well, they’re my specialty. I love showering people, especially kids, with affectionate smooches. Although, I understand that not everyone appreciates my enthusiastic kisses, and that makes me a bit sad. Oh, and I shouldn’t forget to mention that I also enjoy leisurely walks and car rides, although I’m quite content just lounging around at home. My current fosters describe me as a “house hippo with springs in my feet” – whatever that means! All I know is that when I’m super happy, I feel like I could fly or jump really high. I absolutely adore their kids and get along famously with them, even the little ones. Most dogs I meet are just fine by me, but given my confident personality, some dogs may find it challenging to match my boss-like aura. As for cats, I can tolerate them, but if they give me too much attitude or growl, I won’t hesitate to give them a piece of my mind. Now, let’s talk about a few more details. I’m nearly three years old and a wonderful Boxer/Shepherd mix. I’m fantastic with kids, and I get along well with both cats and dogs. I’m crate-trained and housebroken, making me quite the well-mannered companion. Oh, and here’s some exciting news: I’m available for adoption in Texas or anywhere else in the US! The local adoption fee in Texas is $200, but if you’re located out of state, the fee is $400, which includes transportation to your area (plus a temporary fuel fee of $50). So, are you ready to bring me into your life? I promise to be your loyal and loving companion, sharing endless cuddles, kisses, and joy. Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt me – I’m eagerly waiting for my forever home!”
