Aurora

Aurora is an amazing dog, so clever and smart. She loves long walks and did well with both of our young children walking her. We took her out several times to outdoor venues or baseball games and she was calm and loved the attention of a crowd. We have two dogs in our home and she has been a lively … playmate for them both. She will go into a kennel, but does not love it. We let her range through the house when we are home and have had no issues. She is cuddly, sweet and has the best smile when she gets a head scratch or can ride in the car with the window down. She may be a little protective of her humans the first time a stranger comes into the home (again she does great in a crowd out of the home) but quickly reads your response and befriends them if she senses the okay. Aurora was being surrendered to Dallas Animal Shelter when we got the call about her. We knew she was pregnant but we didn’t know that she was going to give birth that night! This beautiful 2-year-old girl is ready for her true furever home! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application.
