Banks is fostered in Ottumwa, Iowa. Say hello to this handsome, sweet boy named Banks. Banks is from a breeder who was giving away a massive amount of dogs from his property. Banks is a male, standard aussie, weighing about 40 lbs and is estimated around 5 years old. Banks is being fostered with … many other dogs and does wonderfully. He has great house manners; is crate trained and house trained. Prior to coming into rescue, his coat was in rough shape with matting and had to be shaved. His coat is returning nicely and he looks remarkable compared to several months ago. Banks goes to doggie daycare and plays well with many other dogs. He has a secret girlfriend named Lucy at daycare. Banks will chill after a fair amount of play, and chew on antlers. Banks was not properly socialized, so he is timid and shy, but is seeking out pets with his foster mom. Banks will do best with another outgoing, social dog in the home to take cues from. Banks does require a physical fencing, preferred to be 6 foot. Books is great with other dogs and even cats. Little kids will likely scare Banks, so no children under 10 years of age is recommended for his adoptive home. Banks is neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on all vaccines (including Lyme) and is receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.
