Valentine

Valentine is a 6-year-old girl looking for her forever home. She needs a day or two to warm up to new people and is not good with strangers, especially in unfamiliar settings. Once she warms up to you she doesn’t want to let you stop petting her. She would do best as an only dog or maybe one other … mellow dog about her size. She would be best in a home with no small children. She loves to sleep under the blanket on the couch and we believe once she settles into her new home, she will sleep under the covers on the bed. She is still working on the potty training but is doing pretty good with the pads and if the door is left open to the yard. I think a fenced back yard would be best for her, and noises do make her bark so an apartment may not be a good idea.
