About Thumbelina

Baby Thumbelina is an adorable, friendly, social, and healthy little puppy. She looks pure Pug and is a tiny little 6-month-old doll face who weighs only 7.5 pounds; we don’t expect her to get much bigger at all. She’s wonderful with my other dogs – even the great big 80-pound doggie I am fostering! Thumbelina was born with scoliosis. I have her x-rays and medical reports to pass on to the adopter. I could have posted her as “special needs,” but the only need she has is to be spoiled, loved, and doted on! With the diagnosis of scoliosis, the vet says she won’t get worse. With walking and playing, the doctor says she can only get better, but how much better we just don’t know for sure. Thumber plays like any other little pupper and has no idea that she’s maybe a bit different! You will be astonished as much as I was to see how this little doll runs, frolics, and keeps up with dog and kitty buddies! She’s even great on stairs – runs up and down like a pro! Thumbelina is active and hilarious, she loves her toys, and there’s not a mean bone in that tiny little girl’s body. Other than scoliosis, Thumbelina is as healthy as a horse. She runs and plays and puts weight on her back legs, which is important as she gains more strength. Since she was born this way, it’s all she knows. She’s in no pain whatsoever, and you’d be astonished how fast she can run and how active she is! I’d love to find this cutie-patootie a perfect forever home because she really is a doll face who deserves a wonderful life! I am a firm believer in allowing people to take a new buddy home for a “sleepover” to be sure your family, your other pets, and whomever you adopt all get along. Of course, we always take our rascals back if things don’t work out. Of course, her adoption donation covers her spay, all her “baby” shots (a series of 3 DA2PPv’s), her Bordatella inoculation, and her rabies shot. She’s wonderfully healthy!
