Teagan

About Teagan

Teagan is a silly 8-week-old lab mix that weighs 8 lbs. She is estimated to be around 55-60 lbs once she is full grown. She is the class clown of her litter. She is always playful and silly when she is around her humans and other pups, and always knows how to get the party started by prancing and dancing around. She is always up for a good time and when she can’t find anyone to play with her, she will keep herself entertained with her toys. She would be perfect for a family who is looking for a fun, silly, go-with-the-flow kind of pup as she loves just being with her humans and is up for whatever adventure they want to partake in. Teagan is medium energy, so she is pretty mellow with short bursts of puppy energy that can be burned with zoomies in the backyard or playtime with her toys. As she gets older and perfects her leash training skills, she would enjoy some leisurely walks around the neighborhood and parks. She loves to run around in the backyard with her human foster kids and chase after toys they throw for her. When she finally catches up with the toy, she will proudly gallop through the yard with her long ears just flapping in the wind. After playtime, she will curl up on your lap and take a long nap. Teagan is dog, cat and kid friendly. She does well with dogs of all ages and sizes, and is currently in a foster home with dogs ranging in age from puppy to senior. She wouldn’t mind having another dog in her forever home that she can play with and continue learning from as she grows, but she is perfectly fine being a solo dog in the home and getting all of her human’s affection to herself. She is curious to meet kitties, but would require slow introductions if there is a kitty in her forever home. Her sweet, silly temperament makes her the perfect pup to join a family with kids of all ages. She is currently in a foster home with a toddler and elementary age kids, and she loves them all. She would love to have some human kids in her forever home to play fetch with and snuggle with on the couch. Teagan is kennel trained, and is currently working on mastering her potty training skills. She will use a potty pad in her puppy playpen while her foster mom is at work, but has been doing great transitioning outside now that she is vaccinated. She currently sleeps in a playpen/kennel setup at night, and doesn’t mind as long as she gets a quick play session in before bedtime. She will need leash training once she is in her forever home. Her ideal home environment would be a house with a fenced in backyard that she can run around and play in. She would do well in an apartment, townhouse or condo as long as she has a human home majority of the day and there is a nice spot on the patio for her to sunbathe in. Teagan will have a $200 refundable spay deposit added onto her adoption and transport fees because she is too young to be spayed at this time. She cannot be adopted into Canada at this time because of her age. If you are interested in adopting Teagan, please apply for her. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
