Prepare to be attracted by Rascal, a gentle soul who is seeking a new home for his golden years. This 10-year-old chow/husky mix found himself in the rescue’s care through no fault of his own after spending his entire life with one family. Rascal is an absolute sweetheart, spreading love to … everyone he meets, and his good behavior is simply remarkable. He walks like a dream on a leash, knows basic commands, and is both potty and crate trained. Alongside his impeccable manners, Rascal gets along with other dogs and is a true delight to be around. In dog years, he’s an old man, and he longs for a perfect home where he can spend his days wrapped in the loving embrace of his human companions. According to his foster, Rascal is doing well, enjoying two long walks a day and getting along famously with other neighborhood dogs. He’s not particularly motivated by food, but he finds joy in balls and bully sticks. Rascal is housebroken, quiet unless he needs something, and has a penchant for watching squirrels without the urge to chase them. He’s not one to bask in the sun, but he does drink lots of water.
