Shadow

About Shadow

This is Shadow, he is a 16-month-old male Black Sable German Shepherd dog. He is a purebred puppy from Czechoslovakian Lines. I am the Foster mom. I took possession of him from a family not properly taking care of him. Leaving him out in a small covered crate on 118 degrees and because he’s an active dog punishing him for being active. His owners “said they did not have the time to take care of him” I would like to get him re-homed to a forever family. He needs a second chance at life. I have been working with him in training classes. I will encourage you to continue his training so he can become a good canine citizen. He is sweet and even tempered, shy upon meeting but warms up quickly. He has a wonderfully sweet and loving nature and personality. He is happy-go-lucky with medium to high activity drive. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids. He has his basic training, but will need more, he is house broken we will continue to work with him and of course will encourage you to do the same. He is kennel/crate trained. He is very loyal to humans. He follows me around the house and loves being near me. He loves human contact. He is just an all-around great GSD puppy. He is learning to go for walks on leash and rides great in the car. He loves to play ball and with his doggie toys. He needs to find a home with a family or to someone with lots of time for training and to give this active dog exercise. The ideal owner would be very active. I enjoy going for walks, hikes, bike rides, and even dog sports with this wonderful boy. Please remember this is a puppy and they take a lot of time, energy and dedication to deal with. German Shepherds require continuous training and stimulation as they can get board easily. They are a very intelligent breed. So when considering “adopting” one please do your research to see what they require and all that they entail. Make sure this is the right breed of dog for you. These dogs live to be around 10-14 years old. They are very intelligent and need a lot of stimulation. (“A German Shepherd mind is a terrible thing to waste”). They are a very loyal and loving breed. They make good companions. I, myself have two and love this breed very much. I would be happy to help you with any further information you need to know on this breed of dog. Please do your research on this Breed to make sure it is the right one for you or your family. All vaccines are up to date. He will need to be micro-chipped. He will be neutered when he is old enough and froth plates close. (I will discuss with future owner.) If you would like more information. Please email me at [email protected] (Suzie). Please leave a message with name and contact information or serious inquires only please! I will be asking an adoption fee of $500, which goes towards his neutering, medical care, and all shots needed plus de-fleaing and back into the Rescue for the next GSD Rescue dog. Location of dog: Cave Creek, Arizona. He is being fostered. Application must be filled out prior to adoption.
