Ruby

Say hello to Ruby. Ruby is estimated to be somewhere around 12 years old. She still has a lot of life left and is happy to just be with you. She is calm with a very sweet and gentle disposition. She is a 10-lbs Chihuahua Mix. She was very thin when we got her but she’s an eager eater so she is … gaining some weight. Ruby was set to be euthanized at the shelter – solely because she is a senior. Her “medical” issues were typical old dog issues – nothing that should have landed her on the red list. We got her a dental a few weeks ago and she has a spay appointment on Nov. 30th. She is appropriately vaccinated for her age and is micro-chipped. We are a small rescue without a lot of resources, but we feel that dentals are a major expense that most people don’t want to take on and keeps people from committing to a senior dog, so we covered that.
