“Hi, my name is Poti. I am one of the group who recently arrived here at big (and small) Dog Ranch after being rescued in Puerto Rico. I have been told that my forever home awaits me here. I am around a year old and not really had a home of my own. The Havanese mix is a sturdy little cross between … the Havanese and some sort of Terrier. I may be a bit of a mixed bag of both breeds. I may be quite stubborn at times, and may not be the best breed to have around very young children since they may be too bouncy. My energy level should easily keep up with most dogs in the park or in your home. I do like other dogs fine as long as they do not want to bounce on me or treat me like a toy. I will likely be with you a very long time as I am known to live up to about 15-18 years. Can you commit to being my friend for many years to come? If so, please come fetch me.” Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
