Say hello to Malone! Here’re some information about this precious boy: Breed: Shepherd mix; Sex: Male; Age: about 1.5; Weight: 60 lbs; Medical Needs: None; Housebroken: Yes, on a regular schedule and will go to door as needed; Crate trained: Yes, he may fuss a bit for a couple minutes but calms … right down; Good in the car: OK. He needs to learn where his space is, but likes to go for rides; Good on a leash: Yes, very good. Still working on steady heel but does not pull and stays right with you. A quick command of Leave It will redirect his attention if he finds something to sniff when you are moving on. Energy level: Medium. There’s still enough puppy in him that he will romp and play outside, but he’s calm in the house and settles in as long as you are settled. When you move he wants to move too. Need a fenced in yard: Not necessary. He’s happy to move a about on a leash or long lead. And comes when you call. Dog Friendly: Yes. He has become besties with the neighbor’s dogs. Cat Friendly? Limited testing shows he pretty much ignores them. He actually seems to avoid them. Kid Friendly: Unknown. But he is very friendly to man and beast, it would be shocking if he was in any way aggressive with children. Again, he still has some puppy in him and is a larger dog, so I could see him inadvertently knocking over smaller children while playing. All in all, this dog is perfect for every one!
