Available for adoption in WA and OR. Fostered in University Place, WA. Available for meet and greets to pre-reviewed applications. Here’s what her foster has to say about her: Pixel is an adorable pocket sized cattle dog who weighs in at just 30 pounds and is about 1 year old. She is a very typical … cattle dog with lots of energy, an extremely athletic body, smart brain, and strong desire to be with her people. She will require an active owner who is ready to do more than just your basic walk around the neighborhood. Both her brain and her body will need consistent work to stay happy. She does a lot of herding type behaviors with dogs and people so it’s not recommended she live with kids under 10 years old, and she will need an experienced owner to help her understand when that’s appropriate and when it’s not. She is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, is good for nail trims, and is learning new things each day! She is friendly with dogs once she knows them but needs slow introductions as it takes her a while to feel comfortable. She has been curious but not aggressive towards my cat. Dog-savvy cats may work in her forever home. Pixel would do best in a home with a fully fenced yard. She would be an ideal dog to train as a running partner or in dog sports like recreational herding, treiball, or agility, or flyball! Overall she’s a very sweet and lovable little girl who has all of the amazing characteristics of the cattle dog breed! Our adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and transport expenses. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset travel and medical expenses. All children at home should be at least age 5 to be approved for adoption!
