About Penny

I am in a foster home in South Texas, and will be transported to the Pacific Northwest once adopted. Penny is dime! For everything she’s been through, she’s the sweetest girl. She was paralyzed and is now walking & running even if it is a little wonky. She does great with kids and other dogs. She loves Frisbee, balls, and water! Great with bath time, but watch watering your plants, she’ll attack the stream of your hose! She may have a beautiful copper coat but this girl is solid gold. She does have a wheelchair for going for longer walks and is incontinent. She wears her diapers well for playing around the house. TOTAL FEES FOR ADOPTION: Adoption Fee of $275 + Texas Sales tax of 8.25% + $150 transport fee for a total due of $447.69. The adoption fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations (spay/neuter, microchip, health certificate) and the transport fee covers transport to the Pacific Northwest on the next available date. TRANSPORT: Currently we have monthly transports. It will be up to the adoptive family to meet the transport to pick up your new family member. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported to the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot bring dogs for a typical meet and greet situation, due to the extensiveness of the transport distance and it being unfair for the dogs who are not adopted to have to make the trip back. Due to the number of requests that we receive on our puppies and dogs, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received. Once we send you an application, your place in line does not get reserved until your application is returned to us. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
