Ozzie

Ozzie is a young, approximately 4-month-old male Pit Bull mix. Ozzie has been in his foster home for almost 2 months now and he’s learning a lot. He gets along well with other dogs and is learning that cats are not chew toys! Potty training is coming along, but he’s having less and less accidents … each week! Ozzie is still learning when it comes to basic obedience, but he knows his name and will come running each and every time! He attempts to sit but his tail is constantly wagging so much, it’s hard for him to keep his bum on the ground! His new family must be prepared to help him continue learning not to jump up. Ozzie is also learning to keep all four feet on the floor. He’s really food motivated, so that helps with training too! Ozzie learned early on to walk nicely on a collar and leash. He loves exploring new places, but can be shy with new people. Ozzie’s favorite hobbies include playing with shoes (be sure to put yours away), playing with the other dogs in his foster home, playing with any type of toy, eating, running around outside, and nap time cuddles on your lap. He dislikes rainy days, nail trims (but he’s getting better), and when foster mom says “play time over.” Please look pass “the breed” and consider this beautiful puppy who would love to have a family of his own.
