Opal

About Opal

Say hello to the lovely Opal, a young shelter dog with quite a story to tell! She found herself in the shelter after being surrendered by her previous owner, along with a litter of five adorable puppies. Now, here’s the thing about Opal—she absolutely adores other dogs and is at her absolute happiest when she’s playing and frolicking with her furry pals. However, Opal has had some tough experiences that have left her a little wary of the big wide world and new faces. That’s why she needs patient humans who are willing to give her the time and space she needs to overcome her fears and blossom into the confident pup she’s meant to be. While Opal’s heart is full of love, she would do best in a home without small children so she can feel more at ease. The good news is that Opal is already housebroken and crate trained, which is a huge plus! And here’s the exciting part—despite her nerves, Opal has been making progress with hand feeding, heeling, and following commands like a champ. She’s shown a wonderful ability to connect with and trust her handler, proving that she’s ready to embrace a brighter future. With your help and love, we can bring out the sweet spirit that lies within Opal and help her conquer her fears. So, are you ready to be the hero Opal needs? Open your heart and give this special pup a chance to thrive and shine.
