Ollie

Ollie is a mini golden retriever who weighs 33.4 pounds, and is about to celebrate his 1st birthday! He is a breeder release pup who is good with other dogs, and is your classic puppy who wants to be with his people. His foster mom shared: Ollie is the sweetest boy. He was very fearful at first but … is slowly coming out of his shell. While he is slow to approach other people, he loves to get scratches from anyone that comes to him, and is never aggressive. He can be picked up and moved if needed without any issues. Once he gets comfortable, he is a playful puppy that loves toys, running around the yard, and playing with the other dogs in the house. Ollie is an energetic pup who will grow to be a medium sized dog, so he does need a secure fenced yard. A quieter home with older kids 8 years and up who are respectful of his space will be best for him. Ollie has not had accidents in his foster home or his crate! While he doesn’t know yet how to explain that he needs to go potty, he is just fine if taken out on a regular schedule. He’s making great progress in his current home, but his future home will need to be patient and go slowly with him as he learns what it’s like to be a loved family member.
