Milo

About Milo

Let me introduce you to the wonderful Milo, a 3-year-old male Bull Terrier who found his way back to his original family after being lost for two long years. Although Milo’s reunion didn’t unfold quite like the fairy tale we hoped for, he remains a sweet and loving boy who simply adores having his humans all to himself. According to his current foster, Milo is an athletic companion who thrives on human interaction and positive reinforcement. He’s highly motivated by food and toys, with a slight obsession for his favorite ball. Whether you’re seeking a hiking buddy, a nighttime fetch partner, or a cuddle buddy, Milo is your guy. However, it’s important to note that he’s no couch potato and would flourish in a home that can dedicate time to exercise, ensuring his happiness and success in his new environment. Milo has been diligently training with his foster, addressing his feelings towards other dogs and laying down a solid foundation for being a devoted friend to his humans. He already knows commands like ‘sit’, ‘come’, and ‘down’, and has mastered the art of keeping all four paws on the ground when greeting human friends. While Milo is great with people of all kinds and has shown curiosity towards cats and dogs, he struggles with managing his emotions and behaviors around other animals. As a result, he would thrive best in a single-pet home. Milo is a sensitive soul who is working on patience and boundaries, so he would greatly benefit from a dog-savvy household with an understanding owner, ensuring his long-term success as he continues his training journey. Fetch is Milo’s ultimate passion, and he’s currently perfecting his drop behavior and patiently waiting for his human friends to pick up the toy and throw it again. Although he had some issues with toy guarding in previous homes, Milo has made tremendous progress in his foster home and now enjoys playing the “trade” game, quickly turning it into a favorite pastime. He has received comprehensive veterinary care and is finally ready to complete his journey home, continuing to learn and grow alongside his loving family. If you’d like to learn more about Milo and determine if he’s the perfect fit for your home, don’t hesitate to apply for him today.
