Maggie

Maggie is a 1.5-year-old Feist/Shar-Pei mix who was surrendered to us with her ‘brother’, Nugget. Maggie and Nugget are a bonded pair and have never been apart. While they are usually inseparable, both have drastically different personalities. Maggie is very outgoing, loving, and excitable! She … loves people and seems to do well with children. Maggie and Nugget came to us because they chase chickens and other small animals, so they both have very high prey drive. The farm life is clearly not suited for these two. Maggie and Nugget are both smaller dogs, under knee-high and weighing around 35 lbs. Maggie seems to love mostly everyone. Both of them seem to do well inside and outside. Their previous owner stated that they would escape their yard, but we have not had an issue with them trying to escape while here, so we think with proper fencing they should be fine! Both of these sweethearts are waiting for a chance to have a new try at fur-ever with a family who won’t give up on them. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test; deworming; and microchip.
