Say hello to Logan! This sweetheart found himself in an overcrowded shelter in NC as a young puppy, through no fault of his own. He was there for too long but he has been in foster care and is more than ready for his forever home. Logan is about 1.5 yrs. old, an overgrown puppy and cuddler … extraordinaire! This cutie pie is so loving, eager to please and wants to be with the people at all times. Logan is exceptionally good at meeting strangers. He is happy and playful; goofy silly! Still young, but medium energy with short bursts! He loves car rides, is housetrained and doing really well with crate training and leash manners. Logan is very smart and learns quickly, he knows his basic commands and “shake”! He also responds well to corrections. Of course it helps that he is food and praise motivated!! He has met a few dogs on leash and had positive interactions with them as well. Logan loves people and wants to please them so much but can get over excited and his brain stops working! He has spent most of his short life in a shelter, so he might be ‘excited’ for a while! He will probably need a home with older children, solely due to his exuberance! And lots of physical and mental activity, to keep that active brain of his occupied!!! Nothing stuffed kongs, chew bones and games won’t solve!
