The beautiful family girl Libby is going to make someone very happy. She is going to be one of those dogs that someone says is the best they’ve ever had. This is because she loves very deeply, she is very loyal, and she is easily a part of the family. She is a 3-year-old lab mix, maybe 50 lbs. She … looks like she might have some kind of spaniel as well as Labrador. She is so affectionate and devoted. She is a very lovable girl. She is potty trained, crate trained, and has good house manners. She loves to lounge around, and would also be glad to load up in the car and go with you on errands or adventures. She would be great for daily walks in the neighborhood or low-key outings such as lunch out to eat on a patio, doggy store visits, etc. She’s not the type of dog to want to go out into the city in chaotic places such as parades or crazy dog parks. She has some partial eyesight loss. She still sees plenty and gets around just fine on her own. She plays with toys and interacts well with people. She is extremely happy and independent, but in new situations, she may need good leadership from her owner. She knows some of her basic commands, sit, down and belly crawl, etc. She is a good listener and is very treat motivated so she is quick to learn new commands. Libby rides well in the car and gets very excited when she knows she is getting ready to go for a car ride. Everyone who meets Libby is blown away by how sweet she is! Also by her beauty. She will immediately turn over for a belly rub and give all sorts of love. We’ve taken her to low-key events where she soaks in all the love and thrives being the center of attention. She is a social butterfly at heart! Libby loves to sunbathe, stretch out on her back for tummy scratches and loves ear rubs. She is such a loving dog and just wants someone who will love her in return. She needs a home with a fenced in backyard as she loves to lay on the grass and sunbathe! It’s her favorite thing! Living with other dogs: Libby would do well with a mature dog, or she can just live as a single dog as a companion for her human. As you can see in the photo, she absolutely adores children. You see plenty of interaction and how she acts with food around kids. I felt 100% confident with her around my kids.
