Leon

Little Leon came to us covered in scabs, dealing with symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. We were worried for this poor boy. We immediately got him to our veterinarian where it was discovered not only was he dealing with pneumonia and mange, but his stomach was full of rocks he ate likely … due to malnutrition. Can you imagine being so hungry you felt the need to eat rocks? Thankfully Leon was able to pass the rocks, and has been treated for both the upper respiratory infection as well as mange. He is now a healthy and happy 4-5-month-old puppy! Leon has typical puppy energy and will need to work on potty/crate, leash, and basic command training in his new homes as all puppies do. He does well with children, other dogs, and cats. Leon is currently fostered in Texas, but is available to make his way to Iowa on one of our upcoming transports! Leon is estimated to be approximately 4 months old. He is current on age-appropriate vaccinations/monthly preventative, dewormed, and micro-chipped. He will be adopted with a neuter contract and an adoption fee of $450 with a reimbursement of $100 upon proof of neutered once they are old enough.
