*Kansas*

Kansas was picked up by animal control in a neighboring town. No one reclaimed her, so she is looking for her new forever home. Kansas is about 2 years old (best guess based on her teeth) and in great health. She does well with other dogs that we’ve tested her with. She weighs around 45-48 pounds. … She is going to be a great adventure buddy. We think she will really like the water. She is active, which would be perfect for someone who hikes, runs, camps, etc. She’s not a couch potato. Sure, she likes to chill, but she definitely has energy that she needs to have a chance to burn as well. Kansas is a very outgoing and sweet girl. She’s not been around young kids that we know of. She’s not been around cats that we know of, so we won’t adopt her into a home with cats. Kansas is doing well on leash and is very responsive to treats, so hopefully that will help with any training. She is always excited when she first sees us, but that’s very normal for dogs who are in a rescue facility. She just loves people! She settles down after about 5 minutes of play time. She isn’t in a foster home, so we don’t know if she’s housetrained. She is ready to steal your heart for a lifetime of love, laughter, and companionship! Come and take her home!
