This is Kai! Kai is a 6-month-old, all white puppy, with pretty blue eyes and the cutest pink nose. Kai was found by a Good Samaritan, cold and alone in a ditch at just 5 weeks old. Now Kai is thriving! He is dog, cat and kid friendly. Unfortunately, he seems to be hearing impaired and have slight … vision impairment. You couldn’t tell just by looking at him because he’s so giddy and just a happy pup! Kai is doing well with his house training. He follows his foster siblings’ lead and enjoys having his people around. He’s curious about everything! He does well in his kennel whenever his foster parents leave for work, but prefers to have a distraction like his peanut butter kong. Kai is up to date on shots, heartworm and flea meds and is anxiously waiting for his forever home! Please note: as with most rescue puppies, we have no way to guarantee this puppy’s breed or size potential. PLEASE READ BELOW: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to please complete an application. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue’s approved vet at 6 months of age. 2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals: Puppies under 12 months – $350; Dogs over 12 months – $250. Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match! Any breed labels used by Take Paws Rescue, its employees/volunteers, or on vet records provided cannot be guaranteed. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels.
