Gus

About Gus

Gus is a 3-year-old black tri-color neutered basset hound that weighs around 70lbs. Gus was a single dog in his prior life. He is a bit shy with new dogs and people. He is a sweet boy who walks well on lead and rides well in the car. We will update his bio as we get to know him. MNBR adopts locally as much as possible so we can properly support our foster dogs and adopters if the need arises. Our adoption area includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Minnesota Basset Rescue (MNBR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue based in Minnesota. Founded in July of 2017, MNBR rehomes dogs from owners who can no longer provide their care and rescues dogs from local pounds and shelters. As an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue we welcome anyone who loves dogs and wishes to help bassets and basset mixes live a healthy and happy life. Our organization provides safe, loving foster home, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities while working hard to find them a permanent, loving home!
