Say hello to Goldie! New Year, New Goldie! Goldie is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever with a breeding past and a bright future. She’s in need of a patient & empathetic adult human to help her glow into the happy dog she is meant to be. It’s a brand new scary world for Goldie and a calm and stable … environment is a must to help her adjust. A warm & quiet home with a dedicated adult human to help gently introduce her to the sights, sounds, smells, and touches of the good life are a must. An enclosed fenced area is a must. Goldie is not fully housebroken however a steady routine will get her there. She is pen-trained and is most relaxed when she can retreat to a private safe space to call her own. Goldie seems fairly indifferent to other cats & dogs in her foster home but has shown signs of resource guarding of toys. She may do well in a home without another dog. Goldie is not fully leash trained but is adjusting well to short walks. High quality treats are well received. Stairs… not her favorite thing right now. With kindness and patience, she will surely be a loyal companion to her future loving and compassionate human. Goldie’s adoption fee is $850 which includes spay, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention and complete checkup.
