Please welcome the stage Muttville’s biggest star, Freddie Mercury. If you’re looking for somebody to love, then Freddie is your Crazy Little Thing. This Queen is very blind, so although he can’t handle any stairs, he can still jam out to all his favorite songs. Freddie Mercury shares his … namesake’s love of rock and roll, and has equally bad teeth. Good boy! Here’s some notes from his foster: Freddie is just the most incredible little guy. He makes everyone he meets so happy with his positive attitude. He loves everyone, and everyone loves him! His tag wag is instantaneous, and he’s so happy when you say his name or give him a scratch. Freddie’s lack of eyesight is simply a non-issue. It doesn’t stop him from exploring his surroundings and engaging with people. His sense of smell gets him pretty far, and once he maps out a room, he knows just how to navigate it. He’s potty trained and has never had an accident with my taking him out a few times daily. He is low-key, a great eater (loves a meal and treats!), a non-barker, and just the best companion anyone could ask for. I like to say (not to Freddie) that he doesn’t photograph well because while he is cute in photos, he’s just simply adorable in person! He loves snuggling, is super affectionate, and gives little kisses. During the day, he sleeps while I work and does well alone (but once we bonded, he gave a few little yips when I left him – nothing over the top, just a “Hey! Am I supposed to go too?”). He also doesn’t mind my other dogs (larger breeds) so he would be fine in a home with other friends. He is ok with older children and enjoys short walks. No stairs, he prefers elevator or to be carried. Overall, Freddie is going to fit seamlessly into someone’s home and heart.
