Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our … volunteers’ time. Completing an application is the first step in our adoption screening process. You must complete the application in entirety in order to be considered as a potential adopter. You can meet a dog only after we have completed our adoption approval process. We look forward to receiving your application in hopes that you are able to meet our adoption requirements and provide this dog with a loving furever home. And now a few words about Mr. Enzo… Enzo is a curious guy who likes exploring new things! He has some fear but doesn’t let that hold him back from his explorations. He has a beagle nose so he likes to sniff all the different things, but he doesn’t seem to have a beagle hunting instinct which is great. He is a goofy dog! He sleeps in silly positions and flops around with his long limbs. It’s fun to see what he does next! He is the most loving dog. A small amount of attention goes a long way with him! He’s also very smart and can catch onto things pretty quickly! Enzo would thrive in a home with an active family. He does great on walks and enjoys going to the park. A place where he can run in a yard or have a family member who will jog with him on trails. Or even a family with another dog that is young as well! (He loves to play but won’t play with me yet, but I suspect he’d play with another dog?) He just needs a way to get out his zoomies! It’s difficult to think of anything else that he would require in a home because he is such a loving boy that I’m pretty sure he’d be genuinely happy with any humans that gave him love and attention. Enzo can be adopted within a two-hour driving radius of Pittsburgh, PA. If you want to make this sweet boy a part of your family, you must first complete the adoption application.
