Dijon

This is a courtesy listing. Dijon is looking for a loving forever home. Little is known about his life before he was picked up as a stray by Los Angeles Animal Control. After three weeks of not being claimed, California Paws Rescue sprung him loose! Handsome Dijon is 10 years old, weighs 44 lbs., … is neutered, and current on vaccinations. Dijon’s Foster Mom shares; “Dijon is a true sweetheart. He is affectionate towards people, and he is not dog or cat reactive. I have three dogs and a cat, and there haven’t been any problems between Dijon and my pack. Dijon is blind, but it doesn’t stop him from always trying his best to get around, he mapped out my house in only a few days. He walks great on a leash; I talk to him while we walk so he knows I’m close. He is gaining confidence during our walks and has the stamina to walk the neighborhood. W even did a very light jog for half a block. He liked that! Dijon barks when he has to potty, then I know to put on the leash and take him out. He loves soft blankets that he can make into a nest. If he has soft blankets and is by my side, then he settles into them and lets out a deep sigh. Dijon is a mellow fellow. Make no mistake he is a Bull Terrier through and through! He has moments when he thinks he knows best, and I say, “Really, Dijon?” He exclaims, “Yes!”, but then he listens and will course correct, usually in typical Bully fashion, which means he is going to make you laugh while doing it! Dijon is looking for love, and he has a lot to give in return.
