DAX

About DAX

Woofus alert! Dax’s hobbies include pulling heavy objects with a sled, and this could include that keg of beer you need to pack in for camping. He also enjoys hiking (without a sled), outdoor adventures of all kinds, gazing into your eyes, and chasing toys like a puppy. Dax will not just sit on command if you have a toy in your hand, he’ll even sit pretty, waving his big paws in the air like he just care. Aside from this adorable quirk, he also has good handler focus when he wants to (he’s a Husky after all!), and he would make a fun jogging/fitness partner. His overall energy is calm and dignified, with occasional bursts of silliness for good measure. He appears potty trained and takes treats nicely. He even shared his kennel with a female dog that he came to the shelter with for a while and may enjoy a canine companion in the home. If you have a dog at home who is looking for a friend, bring them to the shelter for a meet and greet to see if they are a good fit. The shelter is no place for a big, gorgeous woofus, and Dax is more than ready to go home and be your favorite beast in the world. Come get him started on the good life he deserves as a treasured family member. To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon – 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon – 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We’re located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
