Charlie will be your new favorite teddy bear! He is 6 years old and weighs 58.5kg. This hunky boy came into care with his BFF Rufus- both were found as strays together wandering up north. We understand it’s a plus-sized ask to take on two gentle giants, but we promise the reward will be as big as … their personalities. Charlie is much more outgoing than his pal Rufus and will happily show his enthusiasm when he’s see’s the leash to go for a walk. Bouncing up and down on his front legs when he’s excited, this big boy embraces his inner puppy when it’s time to go play outdoors. He loves to play bow and strut next to Rufus and is very tolerant when Rufus get’s a little rowdy. Calm, cool and collected- this boy has zen like patience when it comes to managing his charismatic canine companion. He is very affectionate and will often demand more pets by throwing his big head into your arms. Due to his size and his breed, we are looking for a home with yard access- townhouses and apartments will not be suitable for this pair, and with no small children. A special price will be arranged with staff at the time of adoption to promote these two fella’s going home together! If you would like to learn more about this dynamic duo, please reach out to us at the West Vancouver shelter! Due to COVID-19 We’ve made changes to our adoption process. To adopt: 1. Read through the animal’s profile to see if your home would be a good fit. 2. Submit an application. 3. If it’s a match, staff will contact you to review your application and set-up an appointment to come in for a visit. Please note that visitations are made for approved applicants only. 4. Live happily furever after. We often receive many applications for an available animal. We do our best to respond, although are not always able to respond to all applicants. We will reach out to the approved adopter. Animal has been neutered.
