Say hello to Champ, an incredible hunk who is approximately seven years old and weighs around 100lbs. He is up to date on shots and has been neutered. Champ joined our rescue in September 2021 after facing compatibility issues with a new puppy in his previous home. Despite being diagnosed with … Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) and having lost 70% of his vision, Champ has adapted well to his foster home, learning the layout and becoming acquainted with stairs. Now, we are seeking a special adopter with experience in caring for visually impaired dogs, a fenced-in yard, and preferably older children or adults only. Although blind, Champ is not helpless and deserves a routine, structure, and a loving human companion. We will be selective in finding the right match for Champ, conducting thorough interviews, reference checks, and home visits.
