Blaze III

Sweet, quiet and shy, Blaze is an easy companion to live with and we are confident she will become less shy over time. For now she is pretty cautious but she has already decided it might be nice to jump up on the couch with her foster mom while she is watching TV. At first she was on the other end … of the couch, but gradually she moves a little bit closer. Blaze will let her foster mom pet her as long as she doesn’t make any sudden moves which would startle her. She’s making straight A’s in house training, and uses a dog door whenever she wants to go out to the fenced yard. She gets along fine with the senior male dog in her household but neither one is very interested in playing with each other. Blaze does not yet show any interest in toys. She is quiet in her crate at night or when her foster mom has to leave the house. Blaze is fully vetted and heartworm negative. She would be an investment for the right adopter and would require their gentleness, love and patience, but her trust will come and it will be so worth it.
