Bear is sweet, senior, and cuddly! He is 10 years old and weighs 46.5kg. Bear came to us from way, way up north in Fort Saint John to find a retirement home here on the Sunshine Coast. Bear does not like to be left alone and can be quite vocal so a home where he is with his person most of the day … would be ideal. He really loves his people. Bear is quite calm and mellow, for the most part, and would like nothing more than to follow you around the house and while you work in the garden. Bear seems good with other dogs so far but is reported no not be a feline fan so a home with no cats or critters is required. We’re still getting to know this gentle giant but so far we can’t resist loving this big, fluffy, marshmallow! PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as per regulations set out by the Provincial Health Authority regulating travel between health regions, we are only adopting out animals to our local Health Region (Vancouver Coastal Health) at this time. Should recommendations change from the health authority, this may change in the future. Thanks for your understanding. We’ve made changes to our adoption process! 1. View the animal’s profile. 2. Submit an application. 3. If it’s a match, staff will contact you to set up an appointment for a meet & greet. 4. Live happily fur-ever after! Animal has been neutered.
