About Baby

“Hi, I’m Baby. I may be two years old, but these people at the SPCA keep calling me a Baby! I am a typical lab and love to play in the mud and water when I’m able to. I am still learning how to be a confident pup, so I’d prefer a home that is patient and will let me take my time to grow in my confidence. Let me sit at your feet, toss me treats every so often and I will become your best friend quickly! FOSTER TYPE: Trust Building and Socialization. FOSTER REASON: I am shy and still learning to trust people. I have come a long way at the SPCA and I think I just need a home to grow more confident and find my forever family! DREAM HOME: I need a home with a lot of patience and I am still learning to walk on leash so a securely fenced yard would be best for me. KIDS: I think I would do best in a home with children old enough to respect my boundaries. If you have children under 5, I’d love to meet them before going home with you to make sure we are a good fit together! DOGS: I love hanging out with my dog friends! In fact, I think another confident dog at home with me would really help me learn how to be more outgoing. SPECIAL NOTE: While I am not yet eligible for adoption, I am eligible for foster-to-adopt! APPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled – fill out an online application to foster me.”
