Celebrate Atilla’s birthday with an adoption! He’s almost 2 years old and would love a home to thrive and do all the things that smart working dogs do! Atilla is a young male German Shepherd located at Pope Memorial Humane Society in Dover, NH. He’s a big boy at 90 pounds, but for every ounce he is … as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. True to his breed, Atilla will be a very loyal member of the family, and protective to a fault. For this reason, we are looking for an adopter experienced with shepherds. With family and friends, Attila is a big goofball, looking for belly rubs and ball tosses. Like most shepherds, he is super smart, and loves to learn, so on-going training is suggested for him. Attila needs plenty of exercise, both physical and mental. He needs an adult-only family and a single family home. A large fenced yard is preferred. He is not suited for apartments or rentals. He also needs a pet-free home. Can you blame him for wanting to be your one and only fur-kid to play with and swoon over?
