About Aldo
Some pets are in the Shelter and others in foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio. For dogs, email [email protected]. This very sweet and beautiful 10-month-old Doberman had had a rough start to his life, but it has not affected his amazing personality. Aldo … is such a smart and good young boy. He makes friends with every dog and cat he meets and loves human attention. He was surrendered to the shelter when his owner was no longer able to keep him. One of Aldo’s back legs was broken as a young puppy and no one got him to the vet. Our vet said it would always be a tiny bit shorter and he runs with a cute but quirky gate. He does not appear to be in any pain, and should live a long and healthy life. He does need daily supplements of DA SUQUIN which is non prescription and can be purchased at any pet store or online. Aldo is learning “sit” and “wait” right now and is progressing very well. He knows his name and comes quickly when called. He is kennel and potty trained. Because of his leg, he tends to avoid running wild, and would be a great dog for someone who doesn’t want a sprinter! He walks with his foster outside without a leash and already comes when called. Although he is great with all dogs, he would do best with a smaller dog or older dog that is not high energy, due to his leg. Otherwise, he is a totally healthy and very happy boy who just makes everyone fall in love with him. If you would like to meet this special dog, please email [email protected].
